| Day 1. |
Elephant Camp – Rafting – Caves – Thaton |

From Chiang Mai, we drive about 30 minutes north to Mae Rim area.There,
We will visit a beautiful temple named Wat Pa to observe the meditation
center of brown robed monks surrounded by golden hall and pagoda
housing Buddha footprints.which are rarely seen by tourists. From there,
we drive further north, stop at an elephant camp in Metang to watch
elephant training & working for 1 hour. After shows, you will ride on
elephant crossing the river and into the forest for an hour, visit the
market of Lisu tribe on the way, then back to the camp by an Ox Cart. |

Enjoy Thai food lunch in the riverside restaurant, then start a 1 hour
journey along the river on the bamboo raft. From there, we go to a huge
cave in Chiang Dao to visit Chiang Dao Cave where you can walk 360
meters inside to see colorful limestones and several Buddha images before taking a 1 hour drive to Burmese Border, the northernmost of Chiang Mai.

Stay overnight in a charming riverside cabin on the Kok River Bank in
Thaton village.

| Day 2. |
Diamond Pagoda - Hilltribes – Long tailed Boat –
Chiang Rai |

After breakfast, we drive up to the mountain to enjoy the scenic view of Thaton valley at the Diamond pagoda located on top of the mountain. The pagoda houses hundreds of Buddha images and sculptures of all famous monks in Thailand. From there, we will visit hilltribe villages such as Akha, Lahu and Pa Dong who migrated from China through Mynmar and recently living in Thailand after the 2nd world war.

After sight-seeing walk around the villages, we will start a 4 hour river cruise by
long-tailed boat along the Kok River to Chiang Rai. On the way visit Lahu, Karen
Hilltribe villages, and impress the beautiful scenery until arrival in Chiang Rai late
afternoon.

| Day 3. |
Doi Mae Salong - Doitung Royal Garden – Golden Triangle – Chiang Saen |

After breakfast & check out, we start a 1 hour drive uphill to Doi Maesalong, the
famous residence of Chineses who produce green tea on high mountains. We will visit the tea market, tea plantation farms, and taste the best green tea in a factory there, then move to Doitung Royal Villa. Take a half hour walk around the famous flower garden of Her Princess Mother Sinakarin the Unesco’ important person. From there, we will visit the Northernmost Point of Thailand at Mae Sai. You walk around the trading post center there, or pay extra for the border pass to cross the bridge to visit the huge market and temples in Burma(500 Baht/person/2010)

After lunch, we drive along the border to Golden Triangle the meeting point of
Thailand, Laos and Burma. You can enjoy the scenic Riverview of Mekong River
and visit Opium Museum there to learn more about drugs and opium business in the
old days, then go to Chiang Saen the ancient city on the Mekong River Bank. Visit Wat JD Luang with oldest pagoda in the heart of the city before going back to
Chiang Rai.
Stay overnight in the same hotel.

| Day 4. |
Free day – Transfer to Chiang Mai Airport |

After breakfast, departure from Chiang Rai to visit the most famous temple in
Thailand. It’s Wat Rong Kun or White Temple located in a local village south from Chiang Rai. its glittering façade is completely different from any temple you have seen. From there, we take a 2 hour drive, stop for a coffee break at Mekajarn Hotspring, before going on through forest and mountains to Ban Bosang East of Chiang Mai.

After lunch, we will visit Handicraft Making Center of Ban Bosang where local people producing Paper Umbrellas, Thai Silk, Celadon, Lacquerware etc . These products are worth seeing and buying as souvenirs. Then transfer you to your hotel in Chiang Mai or to Chiang Mai Airport.
