Chiang Mai Package Tour

4 days 3 nights Chiang Mai

Day 1. Chiang Mai - Doi Suthep


08.30 Pick up from your hotel or Chiang Mai airport. Visit one of the most famous temples in Chiang Mai, Wat Pra Tart Doi Suthep located on the mountain west from Chiang Mai. This revered Wat founded by the white elephant of King Ku Na who ruled Chiang Mai in the period of Lanna Dynasty 400 years ago. Spend an hour walking inside this revered temple and enjoy a splendid view of Chiang Mai from temple’s balcony. After, visit a Hmong hilltribe village living on top of the mountain. The Hmong is the 2nd largest tribal group in Thailand. Visit Hilltribe Museum and walk around the village there for 1 hour, then visit Phuping Winter Palace built in 1963 by King Poomipol The Great. Later, visit the old city of Chiang Mai surrounded by ancient moat. You will more about Lanna history and culture at Wat J.D.Luang, the temple with the biggest pagoda, Wat Pra Sing, the temple of the holiest Buddha Image. Take a cup of the best coffee in Chiang Mai at House of Thai Thai Coffee before going back to your hotel.

19.00 Enjoy Kantoke dinner with traditional performances and classical music.

Day 2. Doi Inthanon National Park


08.30 The Doi Inthanon is a famous National Park because of its verdant nature, many waterfalls and the highest mountain in Thailand at altitude 2,565 meters above sea-level. We will take a soft adventure walk for 3 hours through the forest, the terraced rice field, several non-touristed waterfalls and visit hilltribe villages as Karen and Hmong. After walking, we drive up the mountain to visit the highest spot in Thailand. Refresh yourself with fresh air at the viewpoint where 2 royal pagodas built to commemorate the king's 60th birthday in 1989 located. Then stay overnight at a charming resort in this National Park.

Day 3. Elephant - Bamboo Rafting

 

09.00 Check out. We will drive about half an hour to the elephant camp in Mae Wang.Take a 1 -hour riding on elephant through verdant forest, then enjoy a 1 hour bamboo rafting along the Mae Wang river. In the afternoon, visit Ban Tawai Wood -Carving Center where you can spend an hour visiting the largest teak wood furniture & home decorations in northern Thailand. Then go to Chiang Mai.


Day 4. Bo Sang - Chiang Mai Airport.

09.00 Visit Bo Sang Handicraft Center, the home of handicraft manufacturers. You can see painted paper umbrellas, fans, lacquer ware, silverware, celadon, bamboo and teak furniture. These products are worth seeing and buying as souvenir. Transfer you to Chiang Mai airport in the afternoon.
