Day
1. Elephant - Rafting - Thaton
|

Pick up at your hotel in Chiang Mai, then
drive to the north. Visit a local
market at Mae Malai, then go to
Maetang Elephant Camp.
After watching elephant shows,
take a 1 hour riding on elephant
into the forest, visit a Lisu hilltribe
market , then return to the camp
by Ox Cart. In the afternoon,
enjoy Bamboo rafting along
the beautiful Mae Tang river for about an
hour. You will pass fascinating bends, verdant
forest and local orchards
of different kinds of fruits such as banana,
lychee, lamyai among others. Later, visit
a peaceful cave in Chiang Dao
that contains religious statues and the
arches of Venerable Luang Poo Sim.Then drive
about an hour to Thaton.
Stay overnight in a riverside bungalow.

Day
2. Hilltribes – Boat - Chiang
Rai |

Check out. From Thaton, we drive up the
mountain to visit the Diamond Pagoda
and a standing Buddha at Thaton’s
viewpoint. Then visit 4 different
hilltribes; Pa Dong (Long Neck
Karen), Akha and Lahu near the Burmese border.
These tribes were original living in China
and migrated via Burma to Thailand after
2nd world war. In the afternoon, you will
enjoy an unforgettable boat trip
for 4 hours passing local farms,
scenic valleys, tribal villages along the
Kok River to Chiang Rai.
Stay over night in Chiang Rai.

Day
3. Golden Triangle - Opium Hall |
09.00
From Chiang Rai, we drive north for an hour
to visit Doi Tung Royal Villa
located on the mountain. You will enjoy
the most beautiful flower garden and visit
the palace built by The Princess
Mother Sri Nakarin who was internationally
declared by UNESCO to be an Important Person
for medical and environmental development.
From there, we will drive to Mae
Sai, the northernmost point of
Thailand. You can cross the border to visit
the market in Burma, then go to Golden
Triangle, the meeting point of
Thailand, Laos and Burma. Visit the Hall
of Opium to learn about drugs in Asia, then
go back to Chiang Rai.

Day
4. Wat Rong Kun - Chiang Mai |
10.00
Check out. From Chiang Rai, we drive south
to visit an amazing monastery called Wat
Rong Kun recently built by a famous
national architect. This temple has been
well-known for its glittering façade.
Then take a 2-hour journey through plains
and curves to Chiang Mai. Check into your
hotel or transfer to Chiang Mai airport.
